
Alice Spring's Chicken from Outback - My Copy Cat Version
2 Chicken Breasts
4 pieces of Bacon cut in half, cooked
1-2 cups of your favorite cheese, shredded (I like using Extra Sharp Cheddar & Italian Blend. I like to shred the cheese myself)
Seasonings - To your taste
Kosher Salt - to taste
Pepper - to taste
1 teaspoon Granulated Garlic or Garlic Powder
1 teaspoon Granulated Onion or Onion Powder
1/2-1 teaspoon Smoked Paprika
Directions:
Cook your bacon first, and set it aside.
Cut your chicken in half (butterfly the chicken).
Season your chicken on both sides and cook it until it is done on both sides.
Place your chicken, in one layer, on an oven-proof sheet pan.
Top with slices of cooked bacon.
Sprinkle with your shredded cheese.
Use the broil setting of your oven and place the chicken under the broiler until the cheese is melted and bubbly. This should only take about 5 minutes.
