Mama's Peach Cobbler
YIELDS: One 9 x 13 Pan
PREP TIME: 15 mins
COOK TIME: 1 hour
INGREDIENTS:
25 ounces, Canned Peaches
1 stick Butter, Melted (salted or unsalted)
1/2 cup Sugar
1/2 cup Light Brown Sugar
1 cup Self-Rising Flour
1 cup Whole Milk
Cinnamon to Taste
DIRECTIONS:
Melt the butter in the dish that you plan to make your cobbler in.
Once melted, remove from the oven and place the sliced peaches on top of the butter. (I like to cut mine into smaller pieces)
Sprinkle lightly with ground cinnamon.
In a separate bowl, add the Sugars, Flour, and Whole Milk together and mix until combined and the mixture is smooth. Then pour over the peaches.
Sprinkle the top lightly with ground cinnamon and about ¼ cup of granulated sugar.
Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for approximately 1 hour.
*Note: If using All-Purpose Flour, use 1 cup All-Purpose Flour, 1/2 tablespoon Baking Powder, and 1/2 teaspoon Kosher Salt instead of the Self-Rising Flour.
