Buttermilk Pancake Syrup

Ingredients
1 and 1/2 cups Sugar
3/4 cup Buttermilk
Dash of Salt
1 and 1/2 tablespoons Karo Syrup (corn syrup)
1 and 1/2 tablespoons Baking Soda
1 and 1/2 teaspoons Vanilla extract
Directions
1. Place sugar in sauce pan
2. Add Buttermilk and corn syrup
3. Stir mixture over medium-high heat
4. Let the mixture boil for approximately 3 minutes
5. Remove from the heat
6. Stir in Baking Soda
7. Stir in Vanilla extract
8. Cover and set aside until ready to use it. This allows the syrup to settle into the proper consistency
