Fruit Salsa with Cinnamon Chips

Fruit Salsa with Cinnamon Chips

24 oz Strawberries, cut into smaller pieces

2 Kiwis, cut into smaller pieces

2 Apples, cut into smaller pieces (I prefer Honey Crisp apples or Granny Smith)

2 TBSP Sugar

1 TBSP Brown Sugar

4 TBSP Strawberry preserves (You can use any fruit preserve you have on hand)

10-12 (10 inch Flour Tortilla)

Cinnamon Sugar

         * 1 cup Sugar

         * 2 1/2 - 3 1/2 Tablespoons Cinnamon (I prefer Saigon cinnamon)

Directions:

For the Fruit Salsa

Cut all your fruit and place in a bowl.  Stir to mix the fruit up and add sugars and preserves.

Mix well, Refrigerate until ready to serve

For the Cinnamon Chips

Cut your flour tortillas into triangles (I use a pizza cutter)

Heat your oil to 350 degrees Fahrenheit

Fry flour tortilla triangles until golden brown on both sides.  Do not overcook!

Place on a tray lined with paper towels or parchment paper to absorb any extra grease.

Immediately sprinkle both sides with cinnamon sugar while they are still wet from the oil.

Once cool, use them to scoop your fruit salsa.

The cinnamon chips alone are absolutely amazing!
