This recipe was adapted from Rita on TikTok

Rita uses Paneangeli brand "Lievito Pane Defli Angeli," which can be found on Amazon, in place of the baking powder that I used.

I used evaporated milk instead of whole milk because I didn't have any on hand and it worked great.

I think these would be great with a dash of almond extract or even lemon.

These cookies are great with the raspberry or chocolate filling. If you use a filling, you need to let them sit overnight so the cookie will soften and become like a pastry.
