Chocolate Ganache

Easy Chocolate Ganache

Dawn Arnold

This chocolate ganache is more of a soft fudge consistency and absolutely divine. It pairs well as a frosting or a filling!

Ingredients

  • ½ cup Heavy cream, hot but not boiling

  • 1 ½ cup chopped chocolate or chocolate chips

Directions

  1. Heat the heavy cream until it is hot, not boiling.

  2. Pour the heavy cream over the chocolate and let it sit for about 30 seconds.

  3. Stir continuously until the chocolate forms a pudding consistency. If for any reason it looks chunky and doesn’t appear to be a smooth chocolate consistency, you can heat up a couple of tablespoons of heavy cream, add it to the chocolate, and stir constantly to see if you can salvage it.

  4. Allow the ganache to cool and thicken before drizzling or spreading on a cake.
