Ingredients

    • 1 cup plus 3 tablespoons AP Flour, sifted

    • 1 cup Old-Fashioned Oats

    • ¾ cup plus 1 tablespoon Sugar

    • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder

    • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda

    • ¾ cup Salted Butter

    • 2 tablespoons Lyle’s Golden Syrup (This makes the cookie)(Corn Syrup can be used as a last resort)

    • ½ teaspoon Kosher Salt (Only if using unsalted butter)

    • 3 cups Old-Fashioned Oats

    • 2 ¼ cups plus 3 tablespoons Sugar

    • 3 teaspoon Baking Powder

    • 3 teaspoon Baking Soda

    • 2 ¼ cup Salted Butter

    • 6 tablespoons Lyle’s Golden Syrup (This makes the cookie) (Corn Syrup can be used as a last resort)

    • 1 ½ teaspoons Kosher Salt (Only if using unsalted butter)

    Directions

    1. Preheat oven to 350.

    2. Sift your flour in a bowl.

    3. Mix all of your dry ingredients together in a large bowl.

    4. In a saucepan, melt the butter and golden syrup together and pour over the dry ingredients.

    5. Roll into heaping cookie-sized balls and place 3 inches apart on an unlined baking sheet.

    6. Press the cookie dough down slightly to flatten the cookie.

    7. Bake 7-12 minutes or until golden brown. For bigger cookies like mine it may take longer.

    8. Allow the cookies to cool for a few minutes before transferring.
